Smoked Salmon - Hot

  • 1kg Salmon
  • Seasoning (salt & pepper and/or your favourite seasoning mix)

Optional Glazing

  • 2oz (60ml) Honey
  • 2oz (60ml) Maple Syrup
  • 5-6oz (145-175ml) Traeger BBQ sauce
  1. Season salmon and let it rest for about 10 minutes
  2. Preheat smoker to 225F (105C)
  3. Put salmon in the smoker
  4. Optional Glazing: put all ingredients together and mix for at least 1 minute
  5. Start glazing at 100F (38C) and set smoker to 200F (95C)
  6. Remove from smoker when salmon reaches 145F (62C)
