Smoked Salmon - Hot
Ingredients
- 1kg Salmon
- Seasoning (salt & pepper and/or your favourite seasoning mix)
Optional Glazing
- 2oz (60ml) Honey
- 2oz (60ml) Maple Syrup
- 5-6oz (145-175ml) Traeger BBQ sauce
Method
- Season salmon and let it rest for about 10 minutes
- Preheat smoker to 225F (105C)
- Put salmon in the smoker
- Optional Glazing: put all ingredients together and mix for at least 1 minute
- Start glazing at 100F (38C) and set smoker to 200F (95C)
- Remove from smoker when salmon reaches 145F (62C)
