Hazelnut Muffins
Ingredients
Serves: 4
- 1 egg
- 75g caster sugar
- 50g butter
- 8 tablespoons milk (120ml)
- 100g plain flour
- 50g cornflour
- 1 teaspoon salt (5ml)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder (5ml)
- 2 tablespoons hazelnut spread (Nutella) (30ml/50g)
- 30g chocolate chips
Preparation

- Preheat the oven to 200 C / 180 C (fan) / Gas 6.
- In a bowl, mix the egg and sugar with a whisk until it becomes white. Melt the butter and add to the mixture.
- Add the milk, flour, cornflour, salt and baking powder. Whisk the mixture to avoid lumps. Add the hazelnut spread and chocolate chips.
- Butter a muffin tin and fill three quarters of each cup.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes.
