Preheat the oven to 200 C / 180 C (fan) / Gas 6.
In a bowl, mix the egg and sugar with a whisk until it becomes white. Melt the butter and add to the mixture.
Add the milk, flour, cornflour, salt and baking powder. Whisk the mixture to avoid lumps. Add the hazelnut spread and chocolate chips.
Butter a muffin tin and fill three quarters of each cup.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes.
